CAR CRASHES INTO MEDIAN ON INTERSTATE 81 NEAR MCADOO EXIT
Police, firefighters and fire police were called around 11:30 AM today (Nov. 26, 2013) to mile marker 138 southbound along Interstate 81 for a report of a vehicle into the median. Firefighters on scene said injuries were not life-threatening. Responding were State Police, Ryan Township Ambulance Rescue, Delano Fire Company, McAdoo Fire Company, Luzerne Ambulance and others.

CAR CRASHES IN DENSE FOG ON INTERSTATE 81 IN MAHANOY TWP
Fire companies from Delano, Mahanoy City, Altamont and Ryan Township responded around 9:20 tonight (Nov. 26, 2013) to mile marker 129 along Interstate 81 northbound for a report of a vehicle accident. State Police and Ryan EMS also responded.
