Man Arrested on Warrant, In Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia

On February 10, 2014, Officers were on patrol in the area of East Centre and Grant St. when they observed Nathaniel Shoup walking in the area. Officers were aware of warrant for Shoup that had recently been issued through Schuylkill County Probation.


Shoup was taken into custody and transported to the Shenandnaoh Police station. Shoup had been in possession of two black drawstring bags when he was taken into custody. Inside those bags, a large amount of marijuana and several articles of drug paraphernalia were located.

Shoup was lodged in Schuylkill County Prison on the warrant. Charges against Shoup for the marijuana are pending.
