A car driven by a 73 year old woman pulled out from Molleystown Road in front of another car causing a fuel tank to catch fire and burst into flames.
5 men who were passing by the accident had stopped and helped 64 year old, Susan Mindermann, break free from one of the vehicles. They smashed a window and helped her get out of the car. Police said Mindermann would have died as well if not for the men freeing her from the fast spreading fire of the car.
Mindermann and another woman were transported to Hershey Medical Center.
Police have not released the name of the woman killed.
Police have identified the Good Samaritans as Michael Macareno, Christopher Cluver, Scott Lyons, Jeremy Lengle and Gordon Wolfe
