Today is one of those days where it may be cold here up in the north, but living down southeastern US won’t be a walk in the park. Old man winter is making a visit there…with a vengeance! However, that will have little bearing on our weather for the next few days. It will be cold today…most likely with a mix of clouds and sun because of the aforementioned system.
Temperatures will be in the low to mid-teens for highs. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, which actually helps us out since temperatures won’t
fall too much. (Some consolation, right??) Most places will be in the single digits, but should not go below 0. Wednesday will be a little warmer…and sunny. Thursday, even warmer. Friday, things may get above freezing! Then we start looking at a system that will affect the area on Saturday…doesn’t appear to be major at this point…but may bring some snow to the area.
By Sunday and Monday forward temperatures will be pretty much “average.” Highs in the 30’s, lows in the teens and 20’s. A peek ahead to February…things are looking interesting for those of you who love snow…if you still love snow after the past 2 months! Temperatures don’t look bitterly cold, that’s not to say we won’t still have some arctic outbreaks. That’s all I can tease you with for now. Enjoy your cold Tuesday!!
