The Interstate has been closed to traffic at the 104 (Ravine), 107 (Tower City), and 112 (Hegins) exits.
The interstate had been closed down due to the icy road conditions that had caused multiple accidents including vehicles and jackknifed tractor trailers. While crews were trying to get vehicles off the Interstate at Pine Grove, two tractor trailers collided trying to exit (Pictured above).
Any drivers that had already been on the Interstate were stuck while crews cleaned up the scene. Below are some of the images
