THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 INCHES OR MORE.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND END WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW WILL BE WEDNESDAY MORNING. SNOW MAY MIX WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO SLICK ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.
