7:00AM UPDATE: Good morning! If you have been following me on Tamaqua Area Weatherman, I'm sure you are aware of all the changes. Around midweek, the models picked up awesome agreement on this storm. They were quite consistent run after run. Friday afternoon, everything started to change. The models started flopping around. One run the snow would impact Scranton the hardest and the next run it would impact Philly. So with that said, here's my forecast for our area. Snow showers will be isolated throughout the day today. Little or no accumulation is expected. The main area of snow will move in during the late afternoon hours; towards evening. It won't snow very hard in Schuylkill County. The heaviest snow will stay just to our South. We'll have snow showers with us throughout the night and into Monday morning. Most of us will see a general 1-3 inches. The southern portion of the county will end up on the higher end. Maybe even an isolated 4" amount. The northern areas in the county will be on the lower end. It's a sharp cut off line between heavy snow and light snow. So if this storm were to shift North at all, we would see an increase in snow. As of now, I do not see that being likely. Again, 1-3 inches with an isolated 4" amount in the county. Snow will wrap up early Monday morning.
