Tamaqua Man Shoots Another in Face in Walker Township

WNEP is reporting Sunday that John Edwin Clause, 58, of Tamaqua shot Mark Scheitrum in the face in his home in Walker Township after an argument.


Clause then fled the scene but was later caught.

Clause has been placed in Schuylkill County Prison on charges of criminal attempted homicide and other charges.

Scheitrum was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment.
