Overnight Dryer Fire in Coaldale

Just after midnight, Wednesday morning crews were calls to 242 W. Ridge St. for a house fire.  When crews arrived they found smoke coming from the house and the house adjacent to it at 240 W. Ridge St.


The problem was quickly found to be a dryer fire, which they removed.  Coaldale emergency personnel responded and remained on scene while the homes were ventilated.  Personnel from the surrounding communities were initially called but were cancelled enroute.

The fire was reported to have temporarily displaced 3 people.
