The heat and humidity that the county will receive today are likely to add fuel to some strong thunderstorms that are predicted to cross the county this afternoon.

These storms are predicted to hit our area between the 5pm and 9pm hours and are expected to bring heavy downpours, damaging wind gusts, and possibly hail.
