NASCAR Driver Involved in Fatal Sprint Car Accident in Upstate New York

Tony Stewart was racing at an upstate New York race track where he was involved in an incident where the other driver died from his injuries.


On Saturday evening, Tony Stewart raced at Canandaigua Motorsports Park where he was involved in a incident with another driver, Kevin Ward Jr.

In a Youtube video of the incident, it can be seen that Stewart's car made contact with Ward's sending Ward's car into the turn 2 wall.

Ward was taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained in the incident and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
