Just after 2pm, Tuesday, The Mauch Chunk Bank and Trust Bank was robbed by a man wearing pantyhose over his face.
Police are looking are a Ford Explorer. The truck was reportedly headed north on Route 309 where it was later involved in a hit and run crash on Poplar Street in Hazleton.
Its unknown if the suspect was armed.
Anyone with information on the vehicle or suspects are asked to call 911 immediately.
