The 2014 Ashland Boys Association Parade

Ashland celebrated on Saturday it's annual Labor Day tradition.

While this year's parade was smaller than years past, the tradition was still alive in the parade and the residents of the Ashland Borough.  Residents of the borough still reserved their seats prior to the parade by setting up their folding chairs beforehand.

The parade which kicked off at 6pm downtown made it's way up Walnut St. to 21st Street, then back down Centre St.  The parade included fire engines from Ashland, Lavelle, and Gordon as well as floats from businesses and organizations from within the borough. The parade also included a replica of the Ashland Boys Association Historical Marker which was dedicated at last years event.  The parade also included floats of this Grand Marshals:  The President's Club and the Ashland 9-10 Year Old All Stars.
