On the evening of Tuesday, July 29, 2014, Orwigsburg Borough Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Neiko Zalonka, 22 of Schuylkill Haven, for a traffic violation that occurred in the Borough of Orwigsburg.
Subsequent to investigation, the driver was taken into custody for suspicion of "Driving Under the Influence of drugs". Investigation also led to a search warrant being obtained for the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle rendered the finding of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Pending the receipt of chemical tests and laboratory results, charges will be filed through Magisterial District Justice James Ferrier.
