Elytte and Miranda Barbour were sentenced to life in state prison without the possibility of parole.
They were convicted for after they connected with Troy LeFerrara through an advertisement on Craigslist seeking a companion in return for money. The couple met with him on November 11, 2013. Miranda Barbour lured LeFerrara into their car and stabbed him 20 times as he sat in the front seat, while her husband held a cord around the victim’s neck. LeFerrara’s body was found dumped in an alley the next day.
