Sunday, September 28th – SEAN METTAM MEMORIAL MOTORCYCLE RUN – 12-6PM, St. Clair Fish & Game. This is a Memorial Run for Sean and all proceeds will be donated to his Memorial Fund. Motorcycles and vehicles are welcome or you can choose to not go on the run and join us all when we get back. The cost is $15/Person. Registration can be done on this page or contact Nicky at 570-617-6514 or you can register the day of the run from 12:00pm up until we are ready to start the run at 1:00pm. The run will end at the Fish & Game with food, refreshments, and music by John Pe-We Damiter. We want to do this run for such an amazing man who fought one hell of a battle against cancer. On September 28th, 2013 for Sean's rally, he was glowing all day from the amazing people and all the support from everyone that showed up for him.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit Pottsville Rotary Charities and Schuylkill County schools through the Newspaper in Education program, which is designed to introduce students of all ages to the benefits of daily reading and activities using newspapers in local classrooms.
The sale will be in the former Waldenbooks store at Fairlane Village Mall.
Saturday, October 4th – LANSFORD ALIVE FALL FESTIVAL - 9 AM to 2 PM, to be held on West Ridge Street, will include Buster the Clown; Joe Krushinsky, from the Tamaqua-Carbon Unit of the American Cancer Society; singer Angela Nardini; and folk singer Dave Matsinko.
Volunteers added that the craft fair will include jewelry, mesh wreaths, paintings, used books, quilts, native designs, cookbooks, wood crafts and other holiday decorating and gift ideas. Carbon County Friends of Animals will be there, in addition to plenty of food vendors.
