Social Security Benefits to Go up By 1.7 Percent

The Social Security Administration announced Wednesday that Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits will go up for nearly 64 million Americans in 2015.


The 1.7 percent Cost of Living adjustment will begin in January 2015.

The increase was determined by the Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics
