The fire was reported to be fully involved when crews arrived and was reported to be an abandoned home but that has not been confirmed.
The fire hit a 2nd alarm around 3:15pm.
Crews from Shenandoah, Shenandoah Heights, Mahanoy City, Frackville, Ringtown, and Englewood are at the scene fighting the blaze.
At least 3 homes were destroyed by fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
