According to the Times News, the Tamaqua Borough Council was informed on Tuesday night that the Tamaqua Police have been cleared of any wrong doing in connection with the death of a man who died after being tasered by a stun gun back in August.
On August 8th, Jose Paulino, 38, of Tamaqua was running around the Sunoco Mini Market parking lot shouting obscenities. When officers responded and attempted to subdue Paulino, they needed to use at least one taser on him. Paulino was concious when he was placed in an ambulance but went into cardiac arrest and died.
