The National Weather Service Issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Schuylkill County


DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. 

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LIFTING UP THE EAST COAST COULD POTENTIALLY SPREAD A BIT OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN INTO THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA 

TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES SHOULD RISE BY LATE TUESDAY MORNING...ENDING THE THREAT OF ICING. 

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. 

AN INTENSIFYING STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK NORTH OF PENNSYLVANIA ON CHRISTMAS DAY...BRINGING STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS TO THE AREA. 

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE THAT WINDS COULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO CAUSE SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES OR MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.
