Did you know that you can have 6 packs or growlers delivered to your home?
Pennlive.com out of Harrisburg recently reported that The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board recently issued an advisory opinion saying that's it's legal for establishments that already sell beer – pizza shops, taverns and grocery stores – to deliver up to 192 fluid ounces of malt or brewed beer. That is the equivalent of about two six-packs of beer.
No new laws were established, the advisory is clarifying the law currently in place.
Any establishment selling the beer must apply for a transporter for hire license which will allow them to deliver the beer and must be sold by a licensed retailer. Wine or other liquour cannot be delivered.
