Jesse L. Stiely, 74, of Valley View and a resident of the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Jesse was born in Rough and Ready, PA on September 24, 1940, a son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Klinger) Stiely.
He had worked at Avenues in Pottsville.
Jesse loved tractor trailers, playing ball and animals, especially rabbits which he raised.
He is survived by two sisters, Esther, wife of Harold Jones, of Hegins, Alpha, wife of Terry Strohecker, of Herndon, RD; seven brothers George "Shorty" Stiely, of Sunbury, RD, Donald Stiely, of Klingerstown, Harry, husband of Doris Stiely, of Hamburg, James, husband of Doris Sheetz, of CA, Robert, husband of Janice Wert, of Millersburg, Paul, husband of Ruth Stiely, of Klingerstown, Ivan Wynn, of Dalmatia; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings Perry Stiely, Guy Stiely, Nancy Foulds, Donna Sarfine, Jerry Stiely, Glenn Stiely, Beverly Williard and an infant baby boy
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown with the funeral service following at 11 with Rev. Michael Klahr officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery Klingerstown.
