What Municipalities Have the Highest/Lowest Household Income?

On Monday morning, the Morning Call released data that was collected by the US. Census Bureau and shows what municipalities have the highest and lowest household incomes in the Lehigh Valley.  Schuylkill County was a apart of that list.


Most notably, Mahanoy City ($26,000) and Shenandoah ($28,000) are ranked as having the lowest median income in the county.

Deer Lake Borough, Wayne Township, and West Brunswick Township are at the top of the list with the highest median income.
