South Schuylkill Garden Club will hold their Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 7:30 Am to 2:30 PM. The location for the plant sale is at 46 Avenue “C” Schuylkill Haven behind the Medical Arts Building. Start your day early by stopping by for the best selection of locally grown plants for your garden.There will be hundreds of plants including, but not limited to perennials like daylilies, hostas, and sedum. There will be a large variety of perennials for sun and shade along with shrubs and small trees. A large selection of Native Plants will be available. You will be able to find almost everything for your gardening needs from houseplants to herbs. Take advantage of great prices starting as low as $1.00 for starting your garden or adding to an existing landscape. These hardy plants are locally grown so they are acclimated for the area. South Schuylkill Garden Club expert gardeners and Penn State Master Gardeners will be available to answer your gardening questions. Also, light refreshments will be available for you to munch on while making your selection of plants for your garden. You can even take home some baked goods. Some advice to those attending this plant sale that you do want to take home some of those baked goods because South Schuylkill Garden Club members are some of the most talented bakers in the area.
