A boy was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon and is now in serious condition.
According to the Times News, a 12 year old boy was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Coal and Pine Streets in Cumbola, Blythe Township around 4:20pm, Monday.
The boy was reported riding a scooter when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Herman Garcia, 18, of Reading.
The boy reportedly did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection
The boy was transported via helicopter to a local hospital.
