Meteorologists have been forecasting a lot of rain for this weekend, and now this it is here, the forecasts seem right.
Rain is expected to begin in the very early morning hours Saturday. The heaviest rain looks like it will begin in Schuylkill County around Noon. The day will feel down right cool and dreary with temperatures reaching into the mid 60's.
Rain will continue into the early morning hours of Sunday with the possibility of some thunderstorms late Saturday into early Sunday.
We may see a break in the rain around dawn Sunday but showers will still linger throughout the rest of the weekend.
Schuylkill County could see over 2 inches of rain from this storm and flooding is a high possibility.
There is an end in sight with a mostly sunny day in the forecast for Monday with temperatures around 80 degrees.
