Do you like ethnic food? You may want to stop by Mahanoy City's Community Day this Saturday from 10am until 2pm.
Many local businesses will have food stands serving all of your favorite ethnic food along with other vendor stands.
The event will also include pony rides, a petting zoo, and a bounce house.
Later in the evening, the Mahanoy City Borough and Mahanoy Area will display a fireworks show from the Mahanoy Area School. Fireworks will start dusk.
An hour prior to dusk, a free concert will be performed by the Upper School Band at the school's stadium.
