Senator Dave Argall announced that Governor Wolf's Veto last week puts the reimbursement for these projects on hold.
“The reimbursements are dedicated to new school construction or improvements of existing facilities,” Argall said. “Unfortunately, the governor’s veto will leave school districts waiting for reimbursement from the state.”
The Pennsylvania Republican-ran House and Senate passed a budget on June 30th and sent it to the Governor's desk where it was vetoed immediately.
As of Thursday, Pennsylvania is on it's 9th day without a budget.
The following schools are listed to be affected by the lack of state budget and have not been reimbursed for their projects
- Blue Mountain
- Mahanoy Area
- Minersville
- Saint Clair
- Schuylkill Haven
- Shenandoah Valley
- Tri-Valley
