The tournament, which began July 25th and ran through July 30th, consisted of 47 teams from the United States and Canada.
The week began with the skills competitions in which the Breaker Boys' Billy Gerlott won the homerun derby with a total of 28 home runs.
The team, coached by Dan Quick, Lloyd Dietz, and Heath Leiby, played 6 pool play games with 5 wins and 1 loss, which placed them 5th seed for the single elimination tournament. The Breaker Boys then won 4 games to lead them to the championship game on Thursday night at 9:45pm after a spectacular fireworks display.
In the championship game, they defeated the Bay Area Giants from California 13-10.
