Eric Lee Reppert, 31, was picked up on unrelated charges Wednesday morning, but was said to have attempted to steal a Valley Waste Solution garbage truck while it was parked in Tower City around 2:30am Wednesday morning.
Reppert allegedly used a 13 knife to threatened the trucks driver.
Reppert was arraigned by Magisterial Judge David J. Rossi and charged with Robbery w/ Threatening Serious Injury, Robbery of a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Harrassment.
He has been jailed at the Schuylkill County Prison unable to post bail.
