In October, Sarah Ricigliano, a junior at Minersville Area, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since her diagnosis, the borough, school district, and others from around Schuylkill County have been praying and donating to Sarah, to help assist in the expenses for her hospitalization and treatments.
The community also held a haunted house in October where all the proceeds were donated to the Ricigliano Family.
Sarah has been in the hospital since October and on Thursday night was allowed to come home where she was greeted with a parade from the community.
