One Person Flown After Crash in East Union Township Sunday

Around 5:00PM, Sunday, emergency personnel were called to 982 Centre Street, East Union Township near Sheppton, for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.


When crews arrived they found a vehicle into a tree with heavy entrapment.  Emergency crews were able to extricate the driver who was then taken via EMS to the Sheppton Cemetary where a landing zone was set up.

The patient was flown to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

East Union Township Fire, Sheppton Fire, and Nuremberg Ambulance were on scene.
