STS to Offer Free Rides for Veterans on Veteran's Day

The Schuylkill Transportation System announced Wednesday that they will be offering FREE rides aboard all their fixed route buses on Wednesday, November 11th (Veteran's Day) to all Military Veterans.


Veterans. In order to receive the free rides, veterans must present proof of military service to the driver upon boarding the vehicle.


The Schuylkill Transportation System operates ten fixed bus routes Monday thru Friday with limited Saturday service. There are currently over twenty two hundred fixed route bus stops within Schuylkill County. STS provided approximately 207,500 rides during the 2014-2015 year.
