On Friday, two were trapped in a vehicle while crews and PPL officials removed a live wire that had draped across their vehicle.
Just before 1:00PM Friday, crews were called to Shady Lane , Walker Township, near Tamaqua for downed wires.
They found the wires to be draped across a silver SUV with a grandmother and granddaughter stuck inside.
A fallen tree had pulled down the wires as their vehicle was driving by.
Emergency crews kept the two inside the vehicle for almost 2 hours while they shut power off and removed the wires from the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
