Unknown Leak Causes Slippery Roads

On the morning of Thursday, November 12th there were several incidents on route 209 between Middleport and Port Carbon, which caused the road to be closed for a brief period of time. 

There was a slippery substance on the road they believe was some type of oil or diesel fuel leaking from a truck.

 If anyone was driving on this road between 5:45-6:45AM and saw any sort of big truck that may have been leaking fluid, or anything unusual, please contact the Blythe Township police at 570-277-6391.
