According to Pennlive.com, Steward Steckley Jr., of Pottsville, who was sentenced to 25-50 years after being convicted of possessing child porn in 2009 could be resentenced to a much lesser prison term that was originally offered in a plea deal.
The resentencing came after it was reported that Steckley's attorney didn't know and didn't tell him that he could face the 25-50 year prison term.
Steckley reportedly refused the plea deals thinking he had the chance to receive lesser term than what was offered.
