Case Held for Court for Woman Who Allegedly Murdered Granddaughter

On Friday, February 12, 2016, Mahanoy City Police arrested Pietrina C Hoffman, 52,  for the death of her 14 month old granddaughter, Navaeh Doyle, on January 10th, 2016 in the borough.

After taken into custody, Hoffman was held without bail.

On Thursday, Hoffman's preliminary hearing was before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker.

At the hearing Hoffman's case, involving charges of Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Possession Of Firearm when not permitted, Endangering Welfare of Children, Use or Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, was held for court.
