Man Charged for Stabbing Early Wednesday

(03/16/16) Early Wednesday morning Frackville Borough Police received a report that a woman was stabbed in the area of 200 South Lehigh Ave. in the borough.

Upon arrival police located the woman in the parking lot of the Unity gas station bleeding from multiple stab wounds. 

The victim said Ronexon Luis Collado, of Shenandoah, stabbed her multiple times after a verbal altercation turned physical. 

Borough police along with Frackville State Police, Butler Township Police, and Shenandoah Police were able to locate Collado inside a residence in the area of 400 South Lehigh Ave. 

Collado was taken into custody without incident. 

Collado was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. Collado was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Rossi, Tremont and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison on $50,000 straight cash bail. 

Collado will have to answer to the above charges before Magisterial District Judge Hale, Frackville.
