The Penn State Master Gardeners are pleased to be able to offer an environmental information session followed by a workshop to help you with drilling and constructing your own rain barrel. Learn how a few small and inexpensive changes by residents can improve water quality, reduce flooding damage, and reduce soil loss through erosion.
Join us at the Sweet Arrow Lake County Park large pavilion on April 26, 2016 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. to learn how to construct, paint, use and winterize your barrel. Convenient on–line registration is available at http://extension.psu.edu/rain-barrel/schuylkill. Registration and payment of $35 (includes rain barrel and fittings) is required by April 19, 2016.
