The Rangers Hose Company, Girardville, is planning a day of activities for June 4th, 2016 to celebrate their 1916 Ford Model T fire engine turning 100 years old.
The event is from 11:00am to 6:00 pm.
The day includes food by the following vendors; Ashland Boy Scouts, Wilburton Hose Company, McDonald's Lunch (Girardville), and MaryKay's Funnel Cakes. There will be soda and beer available for just $1 a cup. There is will also be a DJ on hand which will all take place at the Rangers Hose Company located at 6 Ogden Street.
An antique fire truck parade will start at 1:00 pm. The parade apparatus will be lined up by year, starting with the Model T and will show the progression of the fire service over the last 100 years.
Each appuratus will be announced as it passes the Rangers Hose Company by Philip Groody, Fire Chief of the Ashland Fire Department.
The beer garden will be open from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
All parade awards are monetary!
