Schnecksville, Pa., May 13, 2016 – Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) has added an additional Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program at its Morgan Center in Tamaqua for individuals who are likely to respond to pre-hospital emergencies or those considering a medical career. Class begins June 6, 2016 and runs through January 16, 2017, Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuition is $1,050; text and CPR Certification is included. LCCC Tamaqua is located at 234 High Street, Tamaqua, Pa.
Didactic and skilled demonstrations, “hands-on” practical skill workshops and practical experience are presented by PA State Certified EMT instructional teams. Upon successful completion, the student will be qualified to take the National Registry Test for an additional fee. Minimum age of 16 is required.
