Eligible participants who are underemployed can receive up to 90% in tuition assistance. Unemployed individuals can receive up to 100% in tuition assistance. The course will be offered at the LCCC Tamaqua mobile lab site provided there is adequate enrollment to offer the class at Tamaqua.

The following course is eligible for the Morgan Foundation Job Training Scholarship:
- Industrial Automation Technician - Course covers advanced electrical and mechanical topics, including programmable logic controllers (PLC). Hands-on training in the mobile lab at Tamaqua complements online computer based training. A nationally recognized PMMI test is administered for certification upon completion of the course.
- There are two other courses in advanced manufacturing that are offered at the LCCC Tamaqua campus but are not eligible for the Morgan Foundation Scholarship. These courses are as follows:
- Production Technician- Basic introductory course offered online through computer based training.
- Specialized Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Level 1 - Prerequisites include a 15-hour Control Ladder Logic course and optional 25-hour Motor Control Systems course. Experience working in a production environment is preferred.
- PATH (Pennsylvania’s Advanced Training and Hiring Program) - LCCC is a Consortium Member of the PATH, which offers noncredit certificates that can be stacked to build the skills necessary to meet the demands of employers in today’s high priority career pathways through training programs and certifications.
