Man Charged with Tampering with Evidence
According to Police, they received a call referencing a heroin overdose in the area of the 400 block of West Frack Street.
When on scene, police located a female inside the residence that was unconscious.
Allen told police that the female injected two bags of heroin just minutes before going unconscious. He then told police that he put the syringe in the trash can and flushed the empty heroin packets down the toilet before police got there.
Allen was charged with a misdemeanor 2 count of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence. Allen will have to answer to the above charge before Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale, Frackville.
Police Looking for Vehicle Involved in Hit and Run
The Minersville Police is looking for a vehicle involved in a hit and run that took place early Wednesday morning.
According to Police, they are looking for 2002-2004 dark blue Jeep Liberty or Cherokee.
The vehicle would have damage on the front driver side of the vehicle.
Police say the incident took place between 2:30am-3:00am on 5th Street.
