Senator Dave Argall's Office has announced that the Ashland Little League will be receiving a grant through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) Greenways, Trail and Recreation Program.
The program is funded through the Marcellus Shale Legacy Fund (Act 13/shale impact fee).
The league will receive the grant in the amount $120,000. The Borough will be using the grant to replace the bleachers, install new safety netting, add a new ADA-compliant parking area and add a new storage building and batting cage.
