A child drowned Saturday afternoon in Knoebels Pool.
Knoebels announced late Saturday that a child was found unresponsive in their Crystal Pool Saturday afternoon.
In a statement posted to their Facebook page late Saturday, Knoebels stated:
Approximately 3:00 p.m., a young boy was found to be unresponsive in Knoebels' Crystal Pool. Emergency care was immediately administered by Knoebels' lifeguards and first aid team until he was transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Please join the Knoebel family and Knoebels team in keeping the young boy and his family in your prayers.

WNEP also reported that Police have confirmed that the child died from drowning.
