The crash reportedly happened just after 8:30am at the intersection of Route 61 (Joseph H. Long Boulevard) and West Russell Street.
There were other multiple injuries in the crash. No word on what caused the crash.
UPDATE: 10:10AM - 2 people have been confirmed to have died in the crash, a man died at the scene while a woman died later at the hospital.
UPDATE: 1:15PM - WNEP is reporting that the victims were from Frackville.
UPDATE: 11:00PM - The victim's have been identified as John and Jean Yanchulis of Frackville. One of person was injured in the accident.
