Police are searching for a male who stole a sports utility vehicle from an area garage earlier this week.According to Rush Township Police, they are investigating a burglary that took place at Zeigler's Garage, located at 133 Claremont Ave, Route 309, near Tamaqua.
The burglary reportedly took place sometime between late Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning.
Police say someone forced their way into the Garage and removed items including a 2015 Dodge Journey.
The burglary wasn't discovered initially until the stolen Dodge was involved in a high speed chase in Exeter Township, Berks County. During the chase, the suspect crashed the vehicle and fled the scene.
The only description police have of the suspect is that it was a white male.
