A Schuylkill County coroner was called to the scene not long after arrival.
According to the Republican Herald, the victim was identified as Charles Remaley, 68, and died when the riding lawnmower rolled on top of him.
Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak pronounced dead at the scene and a virtual autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
This will be the third death in Schuylkill County in the last year where a riding lawnmower was involved. The others occurred in Hegins and New Ringgold.
