Robert P. Zimmerman, 92, of Helfenstein went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Shirley Miller Zimmerman, Helfenstein. Two sons and a daughter survive, six grandchildren and one great grand child.

Survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Harry Karl Snyder; daughters, Suzanne T. Blanchard of Gatesville, TX., and Kim S. Kropp of Tamaqua; grand children, Christina, Carl, and David.
A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, Joan retired from the Borough of Tamaqua having worked twenty-five years as a secretary. Prior to working at the borough, Joan worked for the former Eames Bakery.
A talented writer, Joan enjoyed doing adult coloring books, and navigating the computer.
Born Tuesday, July 8, 1930 in Lansford, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Daniel, and Essie M. (Templin) Schlosser. She was also predeceased by her sister, Thelma Schlosser; brothers, Charlie, Daniel, and John Schlosser.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at 10 o'clock A.M. from the Funeral Home, Vicar Cindy White to officiate. Friends may call on the morning of from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Kenneth E. Youst, Sr., 95 of Pottsville died Friday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
He was born October 11, 1921 in Pottsville son of the late Oliver and Florence Degler.
He was a graduate of Pottsville High School and attended the former Pierce Business School.
He was employed by American Window Cleaning prior to retiring.
Kenneth was an Army Air Corp during World War II and flew 18 missions over Germany during the war. He was also POW for 1 year prior to being liberated by Allied forces.
Kenneth was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and was a life member of the former Greenwood Hill Fire Co. Pottsville.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Youst; a brother Keith Youst. Surviving are 5 children, Kenneth Youst Jr., Pottstown; Karen Youst, Philadelphia; Glenn Youst, Schuylkill Haven; Keith Youst, Pottsville; and Kurt Youst, Hazelton: 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service with military honors will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Procession to the cemetery will gather at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville from 9:30-10A.M. Tuesday.

Irene L Bloch age 84, of Palmyra, formerly of Hegins, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pitman.
She was born on Wednesday, March 30, 1932, in Pitman, a daughter of the late Millard Snyder and the late Margaret Snyder Snyder.
She was employed in area garment factories and had also worked at Twin Valley Farmers Exchange, prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.
Her husband Leroy M Bloch passed away in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by an infant son, Dennis L Bloch; a great grandson, Cody Whitman; a brother. Millard "Mike" Snyder, Jr; and by two sisters Betty Lenker and Helen Barry.
She is survived by a son, Brian L Bloch of Palmyra; a granddaughter, Tiffany A Shuman of Lebanon; a grandson, Nathan B Bloch of Hummelstown; three great granddaughters, Trinity Shuman and Sierra Shuman both of Lebanon, and Kaylee Bloch of Hummelstown; a sister, Larae Hill of New Philadelphia; amd several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Richard A Clark officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
