According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred just before 10:00am on Cold Run Road, East Brunswick Township.
Police say Cody Houser, 16, was traveling northbound on Cold Run Road and was negotiating right curve when he lost control and crossed into the path of William Jones, 51.
Houser was transported via New Ringgold Ambulance to a waiting medivac helicopter and was flown to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Jones was transported via ambulance with unknown injuries.
Both drivers were reported to be wearing their seatbelts.
Assisting at the scene were the Citizen's Fire Company, New Ringgold, New Ringgold Ambulance, and the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville.
